Exports

Map images#

The map viewer’s Export panel captures the current view as PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG. Before exporting you can crop, pick an aspect ratio (free, 16:9, 4:3, 3:2, 1:1, or A4 portrait/landscape) and drag overlays into place: legend, compass, scale bar and rich-text titles or captions.

• Native — instant, rendered right in your browser at screen resolution.
• 4K / 8K and print DPI — with a paper aspect active you can target 150 or 300 DPI. These render on a background worker that stitches full-resolution patches and pulls deeper detail levels, so big exports are real detail, not upscaling. Background renders are PNG/WebP and north-up; you’ll be notified when the file is ready.
• Embed metadata — writes title, scale and print size into the PNG.

Layout PDFs#

For sheets with a true scale, legends and margins, use a Print Layout: export as PDF, PNG or JPEG at 96/150/300 DPI, with multi-page documents becoming one PDF or numbered image files.

Data out#

• CSV — the Data Editor exports any layer or table’s full attribute data (viewers included); dashboard tables offer CSV of what they show.
• Desktop formats — load a layer into QGIS: the Connector materializes it as a local GeoPackage working copy, and from QGIS you can save to any format GDAL knows.
• Original files — uploaded files (images, PDFs, documents) keep a Download button on their item page.
